We built CaseGrade
because prep was broken.
Talented candidates were failing interviews they should have passed — not because they lacked potential, but because they had no structured way to measure their readiness.

The judgment gap
The consulting recruiting process rewards candidates who think clearly under pressure. These are learnable skills — but the dominant prep methods don't teach them.
Case libraries
Give you pattern recognition without diagnosis. Volume without feedback.
Peer practice
Varies wildly in quality. Reps without reliable signal.
Coaches
Valuable but expensive — and most candidates don't know what to ask a coach to help with.
Why we built this
We came from both sides of the consulting interview table — as candidates who prepped obsessively and as interviewers who evaluated hundreds of cases. The pattern was always the same: candidates who did 100+ cases but couldn't articulate why their structure was weak.
The missing piece was never more content — it was measurement. CaseGrade was built by a team with experience across management consulting and AI systems. We understood both what interviewers actually evaluate and how to build reliable automated assessment.
The scoring rubric mirrors real first-round evaluations: structured thinking, quantitative precision, synthesis, and communication under pressure.
Pilot result
Candidates in our pilot cohort moved from Developing to Ready for First Rounds in an average of 8 weeks of consistent practice.
Built by operators
Built and tested by former MBB consultants and AI/ML engineers.
Every case, every rubric, and every scoring model has been reviewed by people who've sat on both sides of the interview table at McKinsey, BCG, and Bain — and built with engineers who've shipped production AI systems at scale. We don't ship a case until it behaves the way a real first-round partner would.
What we believe
Judgment over tactics
Consulting interviews test thinking, not scripts. We build systems that develop judgment, not memorized frameworks.
Measurement enables improvement
You can't improve what you don't measure. Structured scoring is how candidates actually understand their gaps.
Honesty over comfort
Accurate feedback is kinder than vague encouragement. We tell you where you stand, not what you want to hear.
Coaching when it counts
Human coaching is valuable — but only when you know what to work on. We build toward coaching, not away from it.
