Your Privacy Choices
Last updated: April 18, 2026
This page summarizes the privacy choices you have as a user of CaseGrade and how to exercise them. For full detail, see our Privacy Policy.
We do not sell or share your personal information
CaseGrade does not sell personal information for monetary consideration, and we do not “share” personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising as those terms are defined under the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA) and the California Privacy Rights Act (CPRA). We do not use your data for advertising and we do not participate in advertising networks.
Global Privacy Control (GPC)
We recognize and honor the Global Privacy Control browser signal as a valid opt-out request under the CCPA and similar state laws. If you visit our Services with GPC enabled, we will treat that signal as a request to opt out of any sale or sharing of personal information (we do not engage in either, so your preference is already honored by default).
Your rights
Depending on your location and applicable law, you may have the right to:
- Know / access: request a copy of the personal information we hold about you, including what we have collected, used, disclosed, and shared in the prior 12 months
- Correct: request correction of inaccurate or incomplete personal information
- Delete: request deletion of your personal information, subject to limited legal exceptions
- Export (portability): receive your data in a portable, machine-readable format
- Limit use of sensitive personal information: restrict our use of sensitive personal information (we already limit use to permitted purposes by default — see Section 7 of our Privacy Policy)
- Opt out of sale or sharing: we do not sell or share; your preference is honored by default
- Opt out of targeted advertising or certain profiling: we do not engage in either
- Withdraw consent where processing is based on consent
- Human review of automated scoring: request that a CaseGrade team member review any Automated Output (interview score, readiness band, or similar) affecting you
- Contest an automated decision: submit a written objection to an Automated Output
- Non-discrimination: you will not receive discriminatory treatment for exercising these rights
- Appeal: if we deny your request, you may reply to our response to appeal; we will provide appeal instructions where required by law
How to exercise your rights
Choose any of the following methods:
- Email: privacy@casegrade.io with a clear description of your request
- Mail: CaseGrade LLC, Attn: Privacy, 200 West Grand Avenue, Chicago, IL 60654, United States
To protect your information, we will verify your identity before acting on your request — typically by confirming control of the email address on your account. For high-sensitivity requests, we may request additional information. We will respond within 30 days (or sooner if required by your jurisdiction) and may extend once by up to 45 additional days for complex requests, with notice to you.
You may also designate an authorized agent to submit a request on your behalf. We will require reasonable proof of authorization before acting on an agent-submitted request.
California, Colorado, Connecticut, Virginia, and other state residents
If you are a resident of California, Colorado, Connecticut, Virginia, Utah, Texas, Oregon, Montana, Delaware, Iowa, New Hampshire, New Jersey, Nebraska, Tennessee, Minnesota, or Maryland, you have additional rights under your state's consumer privacy law. See Sections 17 and 18 of our Privacy Policy for detail.
Illinois, Texas, and Washington residents — biometric and voice data
If you are a resident of Illinois (under the Biometric Information Privacy Act, 740 ILCS 14/), Texas, Washington, or another U.S. jurisdiction with a biometric-information law, see Section 6 of our Privacy Policy for how we handle voice and audio data. CaseGrade does not create voiceprints or voice biometric templates, does not retain raw audio after transcript generation, and publishes a written retention and destruction schedule. Questions or biometric-specific requests should be directed to privacy@casegrade.io.
EEA, Swiss, and UK residents
If you are in the European Economic Area, Switzerland, or the United Kingdom, you may exercise the rights described in our Privacy Policy (Sections 15 and 19), and you have the right to lodge a complaint with your national data protection authority. See the Privacy Policy for details on transfer mechanisms and on our EU / UK representative (being appointed before expansion to the EEA and UK).
